Steps To Bail Someone Out Of Jail

by | Jul 8, 2021 | Bail Bond | 0 comments

At Sanctuary Bail Bonds, we work with families, spouses, parents, and even friends of defendants. Many of the defendants and their families have never been through the criminal justice system. They are confused and often overwhelmed by the process.

There are some basic steps that occur to get your loved one, relative, or friend out of jail. Following these steps helps to streamline the process. Our bail bondsmen are here to walk you through the process and ensure you have answers to questions to make this process as easy as possible.

Know the Amount and the Information on the Case

In order to obtain a bail bond, we must know the amount of the bail. This means the individual has to go through the initial hearing, find out if bail is a possibility, know the charges, and then contact our team. This can take up to 72 hours before the hearing occurs. We also need the individual’s full legal name and the booking number, birthdate, as well as where he or she is being held.

If the defendant has an attorney, the attorney can provide the family or friends with the necessary information.

Get in Touch with Sanctuary Bail Bonds

If you cannot find some of the information, we are here to help. We will discuss your bail options, including cash or surety bail. We will require collateral, and we can discuss options when you call.

Typically, the premium or fee for a bail bond is ten percent. This is non-refundable and does not require you to pay the full amount to the court, which makes it the best option for most families.

We take the time to explain the process and the potential risk involved in posting bail. We also answer any questions and ensure you understand the process. For more information, call us at 602-224-5247.
